Our Beliefs 

 

About God -We believe in One God who was revealed to us as the Father in Creation, the Son as Savior, and the Holy Spirit in His comforting strength and power that never leaves those who trust Him. 

 

About Jesus Christ-We believe the one true God, Jehovah of the Old Testament, took upon Himself the form of man, and as the Son of man was born of the virgin Mary. He did this to reveal Himself to people and to become the Savior of the lost world. 

 

About People -We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

 

About Salvation -We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who turn from their sins, receive baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus, and by faith receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with the Bible evidence of speaking with other tongues. This constitutes being born again.

 

About the Christian Life-We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily following the Holy Spirit, every believer will always grow and become like our Lord.

 

About the Church -We believe the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have been born again and are committed to growing in their relationship with Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and making Him known to the lost world.
